Err so saying that an investment was on a cash basis but then some of it being invested in sub-prime makes the statement a lie? Who’d have thunk it? But at least Standard Life still has the balls to say they weren’t wrong!

    When I look at the bonuses some of the people get here in the investment bank I say to myself,
    “Shit, Therbs! You could lose billions just like this mob. And then get bonuses for it.” Strike me roan ‘n purple it sounds dead easy to me.
